Cruising Black Women is a re-enactment of Adrian Piper's performance, The Mythic Being: Cruising White Women (1975). During a Man-for-a-Day workshop by Diane Torr, a fictional white male persona was created with the aim to re-enact Piper's performance and recreate the photographic documentation of the original 1975 piece.
